Exploration Gateway
Overview
The Exploration Gateway at Sippo Lake Park is a center of nature, and culture, and a partnership between the Stark County Park District and the Stark County District Library. Sippo Lake is a perfect place to spend your day hiking, boating, picnicking, and fishing! Be sure to check out the Sippo Lake Park & Marina for boat rental and the Wildlife Conservation Center to meet the Wildlife Ambassadors!
Inside the Exploration Gateway, you can be a Canalway Explorer at the Congressman Ralph Regula Canalway Center. This area features exhibits showcasing environmental stewardship, Ohio & Erie Canal history, and local business innovators.
Indoor meeting and banquet rooms are also available for rent. Banquet Hall and Party Rooms are ideal for groups of up to 200 (dinner style) or 400 (auditorium style). We offer a beautiful natural setting for wedding ceremonies, rehearsal dinners, and receptions. Wi-Fi and built-in audio and video make this a great space for meetings and corporate gatherings. For photos and rental information, visit www.StarkPartyHall.com.
The Perry-Sippo Branch Library features a collection of specialized nature and Canalway history resources and an outdoor terrace and indoor fireplace. Free Wi-Fi and public computers are also available.
An outdoor family story walk is located alongside the building. Stories change periodically throughout the year.
